During the design process there will be two stages of non-statutory public consultation. The first public consultation will take place in November 2019 and will focus on the Options Selection. The public will have the opportunity to meet the project team and receive further information on the N21 Newcastle West Scheme.

The project team will consider feedback and submissions from the non-statutory public consultation in their development of the preferred route corridor options. The second public consultation will then seek feedback and submissions from the preferred route options.

A period of statutory consultation will occur when we submit our planning applications to An Bord Pleanála.
